Basque Employment Service (Lanbide) sent via SMS 1,448 9,645 job offers to applicants within two months.
Lanbide mid-March launched the system through messages via mobile phone, considering it 'more effective and direct' to contact job seekers.
Lanbide In the message informs the unemployed person who meets the requirements for a tender, the tender reference and the name of the occupation. After the employment service company refers to the vendor a list of the candidates who best fit the required profile. The average supply of candidates for being of 6.6 people.
