The Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade has submitted a proposal for a ministerial order for the price of text messages (SMS) premium rate, those associated with games and contests, among other services, will increase by 25% from the current 1.42 euros to 1, 77 euros.
Specifically, the increase will occur in the price of SMS numbers beginning with 25, 27, 28, 35, 37 and 79 (alert services), according to a note by the English Confederation of Housewives, Consumers and Users (CEACCU).
The association said it had sent a letter to the Ministry that Miguel Sebastian runs rejecting this increase it considers "disproportionate" to be eleven times the November CPI stood at 2.3%, and "unjustified."
