The National Competition Commission (CNC) has opened disciplinary proceedings against Telefónica Móviles, Vodafone Spain and France Spain Telecom (Orange ) in relation to conduct of excessive pricing in the short message services on its nationwide mobile network.
In a statement, the body chaired by Luis Berenguer said that the information in the record "arising indications" that these operators have engaged in conduct involving the application of excessive prices in wholesale services origination and termination of short messages SMS and MMS their national mobile networks.
